How do I choose the right memorial ?
Before any choice is made, you will need to view our selection of memorial designs. View our online selections or request a brochure by email or just make a phone call. We will need to know a few details to send the correct brochure, whether it's for a Churchyard or Cemetery and if it's for a burial or cremation.
It is advisable to visit our showroom/studio to view our selection and discuss your requirements. We will be able to advise you of the materials and size regulations permitted by each burial authority.
How do I order?
By email, telephone or fax. You will need to inform us of the design, material and inscription you require. We may have to contact you to obtain any further information. Then we would send you an order form with all the details of the memorial for you to check and sign. A memorial application form will also be enclosed for the cemetery or churchyard for you to sign. However, it is advisable to visit the studio to choose and order the memorial. This will enable you to discuss your requirements on a more personal basis. Home visits can also be made by request.
How far do M.J.Sly travel to install memorials?
Our usual area of installation of memorials cover Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Gloucester. However we recently installed memorials as far as Leeds and Devon.
If I want to order a pet memorial, do I have to collect it from the studio?
No, we can send the pet memorials by a courier.
Postage and packaging will be calculated before dispatch.
What is the timescale to install a memorial from the order taking place?
Usually within 4-12 weeks from approval from the Cemetery or Churchyard authorities for stock designs. Some of our memorials are made to order and a timescale for these memorials will be confirmed upon order. .
